San Francisco, July 25, 2024 - OpenAI today announced the launch of SearchGPT, an AI-based search engine designed to revolutionize the way users interact with information online. This innovative tool, which aims to be a direct competitor to Google and Perplexity, will initially be available as a limited edition for 10,000 trial users.
A new approach to online search
SearchGPT differs from traditional search engines in its ability to provide contextual and organized answers instead of a simple list of links.
