ChatGPT gets integrated into MS Teams
DukeRem3 February 2023
What do you think about having someone who not only takes notes during a video conference, but also makes a summary, highlighting the most relevant parts? That's what Microsoft promises to do with a premium service for Teams, costing $7 per month (for a limited period) that will become $10 per month, when fully operational. This service will integrate the famous chatGPT within Teams, obviously 'fine-tuned' for this specific purpose. In fact, it is well known that Microsoft has been investing heavily in OpenAI for some time now and, after the integration within Azure, discussed a few days ago on this same website, this could be the second (big) step, before inserting the chat AI within every product of the Office line and, sooner or later, within Windows itself. While, from a purely technological point of view, the prospect is very attractive, as always doubts can be raised about sharing potentially very private conversations, such as those usually discussed in company meetings, with a service like chatGPT.
