We all know GPT chat very well, however, perhaps not everyone knows that since March it is possible through a subscription to request access to the waiting list to use the most advanced version of the conversational AI system, GPT 4. During the day yesterday, a statement was released on the official OpenAI website stating that, as of now, all paying API developers will have access to the most advanced version. "Starting today, all paying API customers have access to GPT-4. In March, we introduced the ChatGPT API, and earlier this month we released our first updates to the chat-based models. We envision a future where chat-based models can support any use case. Today we're announcing a deprecation plan for older models of the Completions API, and recommend that users adopt the Chat Completions API." It is also specified that they are working to make the APIs of their various systems more accessible. In the last part of the announcement, developers are made aware that by July 4, 2024, they will need to migrate to newer versions of the Completions API, embeddings models, and Edits API.
