Lesson 9: LLMs in the real world - chatGPT
DukeRem
In this 9th #lesson, we'll introduce you to #ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art #LLM based #chatBot that has gained widespread attention for its #powerful #language #understanding and generation capabilities. ChatGPT is an #AI system developed by #OpenAI, and it's based on the #GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture. It has been trained on an extensive dataset and fine-tuned for conversational AI tasks. With its powerful language capabilities, ChatGPT can answer questions, engage in conversation, generate content, and perform a variety of other language-related tasks. It has found applications in numerous industries, including customer support, content creation, and even scientific research. There are several ways in which you can access ChatGPT. One of the most common ways is through online chatbots that use ChatGPT as their underlying technology. These chatbots can be found on websites (e.g. #OpenAI) and social media platforms and allow users to interact with ChatGPT in real-time. Another way to access ChatGPT is through #API (Application Programming Interface) integration. This allows developers to integrate ChatGPT into their own applications and software, enabling them to take advantage of its powerful language capabilities. Additionally, there are also pre-built applications and tools that use ChatGPT, such as virtual assistants and language translation services. These tools provide users with an easy-to-use interface for accessing ChatGPT's language capabilities without the need for technical expertise. On a sidenote, other LLM based chatBots exist, like for example #Claude (that we mentioned before).
