Chery has introduced AIMOGA, an advanced humanoid robot, to its showrooms to assist customers. Powered by DeepSeek AI, AIMOGA offers natural and multilingual interactions, marking a significant step in the integration of robotics into the automotive industry.

Chinese automaker Chery recently introduced AIMOGA, a humanoid robot designed to assist customers in its showrooms. AIMOGA is a collaboration between Chery, its robotics division AIMOGA and AI company DeepSeek. This robot can understand and respond in 10 languages, thanks to the integration of DeepSeek’s open-source AI models V2, V3 and R1 in its cloud platform. This multilingual capability allows AIMOGA to effectively interact with a global customer base, offering a personalized and engaging experience.

Mechanically, AIMOGA features 41 degrees of freedom, including 12 for each hand, allowing for fluid and lifelike movements. Its structure includes a bionic silicone face, designed to make interaction more natural. Equipped with a five-way sensor array, the robot can avoid obstacles with centimeter precision and plan dynamic paths in complex environments.

AIMOGA is currently operating in selected showrooms in Malaysia, where it assists customers in choosing vehicles, providing detailed information about the models on display. Chery plans to expand the use of AIMOGA to other global markets during 2025. This initiative is part of Chery’s broader strategy to integrate robotics and AI into the automotive industry, creating an intelligent mobility ecosystem that combines humans, robots and vehicles.

The partnership with DeepSeek is a key element in this strategy, leveraging AI technology to enhance the interaction between customers and robots. Chery has already integrated DeepSeek technology into its Lion Intelligent Cabin, enhancing voice assistance and in-vehicle personalization capabilities. This collaboration highlights Chery’s commitment to adopting advanced technologies to deliver innovative and personalized user experiences.

With the introduction of AIMOGA, Chery is demonstrating how robotics and AI can be effectively integrated into the automotive industry, enhancing the customer experience and opening up new possibilities for human-machine interaction.
