Cisco and ServiceNow are deepening their collaboration to offer enterprises integrated tools to ensure secure, scalable and compliant AI adoption. The integration between Cisco AI Defense and ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) aims to provide comprehensive AI risk management by improving visibility, real-time protection and governance of AI applications.

Key Points:

  • Strategic Integration: Cisco AI Defense integrates with ServiceNow SecOps to provide unified AI risk management.
  • Visibility and Protection: The combined solution enables identification of AI workloads, automatic vulnerability assessments and real-time protection.
  • Governance and Compliance: Cisco AI Defense controls can be mapped to compliance standards within the ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management platform.
  • Availability: Initial field trials will begin soon, with general release expected in the second half of 2025.

At the RSA Conference 2025 in San Francisco, Cisco and ServiceNow announced the expansion of their partnership, focusing on integrating their respective solutions to address emerging challenges related to AI adoption in the enterprise. The collaboration aims to provide an integrated platform that combines Cisco’s infrastructure and security with ServiceNow’s automation and risk management capabilities.

The integration of Cisco AI Defense with ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) provides enterprises with advanced tools to manage AI risks. Cisco AI Defense identifies AI workloads, models, and data, and performs automatic vulnerability assessments. These findings are displayed in ServiceNow Vulnerability Response, where they can be monitored and managed. Additionally, real-time protection is provided by Cisco AI Runtime Protection, while ServiceNow Security Posture Control identifies gaps in protection, enabling effective vulnerability prioritization.

AI application telemetry is transmitted from Cisco AI Defense to ServiceNow Security Incident Response, streamlining security operations center investigations and supporting timely threat response. For governance, customers can map Cisco AI Defense controls to relevant standards within ServiceNow’s Integrated Risk Management platform, ensuring AI compliance across the organization.

This collaboration represents a significant step toward more secure and compliant AI management in the enterprise, addressing the growing need for integrated solutions that address the complex challenges of AI adoption.
