Headquartered in Toronto with offices in the U.S. and globally, Tenstorrent continues to innovate in the field of computer architecture and neural network compilers.

Tenstorrent, known for its innovation in AI processors, recently expanded its offerings with the Blackhole™ series, designed to meet the needs of increasingly complex AI workloads. These products are distinguished by the integration of advanced RISC-V cores and unprecedented scalability.

The Blackhole™ family includes three main models:

Blackhole™ p100a: Equipped with 120 Tensix cores and 28 GB of GDDR6 memory, it offers high performance for desktop workstations at a price point of $999.

Blackhole™ p150a: With 140 Tensix cores and 32GB of GDDR6 memory, it includes four passive 800G QSFP-DD ports for advanced connectivity, priced at $1,299.

Blackhole™ p150b: Similar to the p150a but designed for rack servers, it features passive cooling and maintains the same performance specifications.

All models are powered by Tenstorrent’s Tensix processor, which is the heart of the architecture. Blackhole™ PCIe cards have been updated to a 6nm manufacturing process, offering increased memory density and additional RISC-V cores.

To support the developer community, Tenstorrent has launched the Developer Hub, a platform that offers template support, video tutorials, awards, and resources for those working on the Tenstorrent platform.

The Blackhole™ and TT-QuietBox products are fully supported by Tenstorrent’s open source software stacks, including TT-Forge™, TT-NN™, TT-Metalium™, and TT-LLK™, available on GitHub.

Additionally, Tenstorrent has partnered with the Japanese government to train up to 200 Japanese chip designers at its offices in the United States over the next five years. This $50 million deal aims to strengthen AI chip design capabilities using RISC-V technology, contributing to innovation in the semiconductor industry in Japan.
