NVIDIA Launches DGX Spark and DGX Station: Desktop AI Supercomputers for Developers and Researchers, Designed to Deliver High Performance Right to Your Desktop

NVIDIA has unveiled two new personal AI supercomputers: DGX Spark and DGX Station, designed to bring advanced computing power to the desktops of developers, researchers, and data scientists.

DGX Spark, formerly known as “Digits,” is a Mac Mini-sized AI supercomputer priced around $3,000. It is powered by NVIDIA’s GB10 Blackwell Superchip, capable of up to 1,000 trillion operations per second (TOPS), and features 128GB of unified memory and up to 4TB of NVMe SSD storage. This device is designed to handle large AI models, up to 200 billion parameters, giving users the ability to develop and test AI models locally without the need for data center connections.
On the other hand, the DGX Station is aimed at AI developers and researchers who need even more computing power. This desktop system integrates the new and more powerful GB300 Blackwell Ultra Superchip, offering 20 petaflops of AI performance and 784 GB of unified system memory. This configuration allows you to tackle large-scale training and inference workloads right from your desk, eliminating the need for external infrastructure.
NVIDIA announced that OEM partners such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Boxx, Lambda, and Supermicro will develop custom versions of these models. Pre-orders for the DGX Spark are now open on the NVIDIA website, with shipments expected in summer 2025. Custom versions of the DGX Station will be available later this year.
These new products represent a significant step in offering advanced AI solutions accessible directly from the desktop environment, addressing the growing need for computing power in the AI field.
