NVIDIA recently announced the Blackwell Ultra B300, an advanced GPU designed to power data centers and AI applications. This new component offers 20 petaflops of AI performance and 288 GB of HBM3e memory, significantly surpassing the previous model, the GB200, which had 192 GB of memory.
Additionally, the B300 features a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 1400 W, up from 1000 W for its predecessor, indicating a 50% increase in FP4 performance.
In parallel, NVIDIA unveiled its upcoming Vera Rubin architecture, scheduled for 2026, which will integrate a custom CPU called Vera and a Rubin GPU. This combination promises to double the performance compared to current solutions, with a memory capacity of up to 288 GB thanks to the use of eight HBM4 memory stacks.
NVIDIA’s roadmap includes further developments with the launch of Rubin Ultra in 2027, which will deliver 100 petaflops of FP4 performance and nearly four times the memory of previous versions.
