Wuhan Humanoid Robot Lifts 60kg With Precision
The “Laborer” model integrates an advanced algorithm to ensure balance and stable performance in industrial environments
Isabella V28 February 2025

Humanoid robot of Wuhan Glory Road reaches 60 kg by proprietary control, solid metal structure, advanced algorithm, optimized design for dynamic balance and industrial loads, offering guaranteed effective performance.

Key points:

  • Lifting capacity up to 60 kg.
  • Advanced proprietary control algorithm.
  • Robust structure and sophisticated joints.
  • Innovative industrial and dynamic applications.

The research team of Wuhan Glory Road Intelligent Technology Co, Ltd. has perfected a humanoid model of the “Laborer” series characterized by a height of 1.8 meters and a weight of 95 kilograms, capable of lifting loads between 40 and 60 kilograms thanks to an in-house developed motion control algorithm that ensures stable walking with straight legs; widespread images highlight the intense work of engineers engaged in optimizing force, dynamic balance, and weight distribution through a metal structure designed for industrial environments, equipped with strategically placed sensors and cameras, and joints integrating electric motors, possibly complemented by hydraulic systems to deal with more demanding loads; the result stands out in a context where other models, such as Apptronik’s Apollo and Figure 2, have lower lifting capabilities, while specialized industrial robots can achieve far greater loads, highlighting the technical challenges inherent in replicating human movement with balance on a bipedal platform and thus stimulating further investment in multifunctional humanoids for application in manufacturing settings.

The integration of technological innovation and advanced engineering sets new parameters for industrial automation.
