NVIDIA presents the B300 “Blackwell” series for AI processing
New GPUs with HBM3E memory and different configurations coming in 2025

Nvidia has announced the new series of Blackwell Ultra GPU, renamed B300, dedicated to AI elaboration. The new specifications include HBM3E memory and a variety of configurations designed to meet the needs of data centers. Availability is scheduled for 2025.

Nvidia has officially introduced the Blackwell Ultra GPU series, now identified with the B300 brand, intended to enhance the processing in the field of AI. According to the sources, this choice of renamed represents an evolution in the company’s marketing strategy, aimed at simplifying and making the designations of its products more incisive. The accelerators previously known as B200 Ultra AI and the GB200 Ultra AI servers have been renamed B300 and GB300 respectively, with a similar change also for the "A" series. Despite the withdrawal of the B200A Serie from the commercial offer, Nvidia plans to launch the new "Blackwell Ultra" range to attract companies interested in calculation solutions to without exaggerating with the expenses.

The current Blackwell portfolio has already recorded a significant adoption rate, with requests that exceed expectations. Nvidia expects to generate significant revenues already in the next quarter and even higher projections at the beginning of 2025. The B300 Blackwell Ultra series will offer an assortment of configurations, including HGX, MGX and NVL models, with options such as NVL-36 and NVL- 72 for server and data center. These chips will support up to 288 GB of HBM3E memory, with the possibility of 144 GB configurations. For comparison, the Mi325x GPU of AMD, recently launched, offers a capacity of 256 GB, while the Mi350x wait, scheduled for the second half of 2025, aims to provide similar skills.

The technical specifications of the new B300 series will include the adoption of 12-layered HBM3E memory, together with the Cowos-L technology, aimed at improving the overall performance of the devices. The availability of products to the B300 "Blackwell Ultra" is expected within the temporal window ranging from the second to the fourth quarter of 2025. This launch represents a strategic step in the evolution of Nvidia offers in the AI ​​sector, with the aim of meet the growing market needs.
