NVIDIA updates the GeForce RTX brand with a focus on AI: the slogan "Powering Advanced AI" introduces a new era for GPUs and PC AI platforms, highlighting the growing importance of AI also for consumers. This change reflects the company’s commitment to making AI accessible and powerful for a wide range of applications, from gaming to content creation.

Key Points:

  • New slogan "Powering Advanced AI" introduced for GeForce RTX GPUs.
  •  Focus on AI for consumer users, with hundreds of AI TOPS available.
  • GeForce RTX platforms go beyond gaming, also embracing content creation and professional rendering.
  • Preparations for the next generation RTX 50 "Blackwell", with expectations of further AI improvements.

NVIDIA recently updated its GeForce RTX branding, introducing the tagline “Powering Advanced AI” to highlight the growing importance of AI within its consumer GPU and PC AI platforms. This new slogan represents a significant change in the positioning of NVIDIA, which has always dominated the gaming graphics card segment, but which is now expanding its offering with advanced AI solutions.

The decision to include this slogan on the GeForce RTX GPU badges was adopted quietly but strategically, to emphasize the technological evolution that the company is pursuing. The last time NVIDIA made a significant change to its branding was back in 2018, when the GeForce line moved from GTX to RTX, introducing support for real-time ray tracing. With the current update, the emphasis is on the ability of GPUs to process AI-based applications, such as DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling), DLSS Frame Generation, and the new DLSS Ray Reconstruction technology.

These technologies demonstrate how NVIDIA isn’t just improving graphics performance in video games, but is also pushing innovation elsewhere, making AI more accessible and powerful for consumers. The new “Powering Advanced AI” badge will be used by OEMs and NVIDIA partners, who will provide DIY GPUs, pre-built PCs and laptops, all equipped with advanced hardware to make the most of the platform’s AI capabilities.

The introduction of this slogan comes at a time when NVIDIA continues to lead the market with increasingly powerful chips, both for data centers and end consumers. NVIDIA’s consumer platforms are capable of delivering world-class AI experiences, far exceeding the performance of NPUs (Neural Processing Units) integrated into leading SoCs (System on Chips) from competitors such as AMD, Intel and Qualcomm. These NVIDIA chips can reach several hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second), a value significantly higher than the 50-60 TOPS of competing solutions.

The GeForce RTX platform, therefore, is no longer just synonymous with high-quality gaming, but has become a versatile solution for a wide range of applications, including high-end rendering, content creation, professional workstation use and much more. With each new generation of GPUs, NVIDIA introduces significant improvements in performance, and the upcoming RTX 50 range, codenamed "Blackwell", is expected to continue on this path, offering even more advanced AI capabilities than the current RTX 40 series “Ada.”

The introduction of the slogan "Powering Advanced AI" represents an evolution in NVIDIA’s strategy, which now aims to position its AI solutions as a central element also for the consumer market, as well as for data centers and professional applications. This move highlights the growing importance of AI in every aspect of the PC experience, outlining a future vision in which AI will be an increasingly integrated and indispensable element.

NVIDIA continues to lead the market with innovations that push the boundaries of AI performance, positioning the GeForce RTX series as the centerpiece of consumer AI experiences.
