Ola, a well-known Indian automotive company, has announced the production of the nation’s first in-house AI chip by 2026, designed to integrate advanced autonomous driving features and enhance the country’s technological infrastructure. India is poised to make a significant leap in the global tech landscape with Ola’s announcement to launch the first AI chip entirely designed and manufactured domestically. This initiative, led by CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, represents a strategic shift for the Indian tech industry, aiming to reduce reliance on foreign solutions in such a crucial sector.
